of working with individuals, couples, families, and complex systems,
I am able to grasp the dynamics of a system intuitively, quickly,
comprehensively.
It always begins
with the CEO or other leader and their description of the situation.
They usually define the situation as a problem or set of problems
or else I wouldnt be there.
The way we define
a problem is always a revelation. Our description of the landscape
"out there" always describes ourselves and how we interact
with others in the system. Because all systems are organizations
of energy and information, I pay particular attention to how energy
flows or is blocked, how information is used or misused to create
a shared vision of goals and objectives and the actions necessary
to achieve them - or not.
